Why God Was Not Created, and Why You Are That God
1. The Mind Wants a Creator for the Creator
One of the most common questions asked by atheists, scientists, and curious minds is:
“If God exists, who created God?”
“If ‘I AM’ is the source, who created ‘I AM’?”
They’re asking this sincerely. But the question is built on a flawed foundation:
It assumes that everything must have a beginning.
This is the carnal mind — limited by time, cause, and effect —
trying to comprehend eternal Spirit using temporary logic.
2. Only What Is Created Has a Beginning
“In the beginning was the Word…” — John 1:1
But there was no beginning to the Word —
The Word was the beginning.
Spirit doesn’t have a start.
Spirit is the starting point of all things.
Before any form, before any thought, before any thing —
There was only:
I AM.
Not “I became.”
Not “I started.”
Just: I AM.
3. Spirit Is Self-Existing and Self-Aware
“God is Spirit.” — John 4:24
“The Spirit gives birth to spirit.” — John 3:6
Spirit is not a thing — Spirit is Being itself.
It cannot be created because it is the Source of all creation.
The Word (Logos) is not an effect — it is the Cause.
When we ask “Who created God?” — we are asking:
“Who created that which is uncreated?”
Which is like asking, “What was before before?”
The question collapses in on itself.
4. You Are That Spirit
Jesus said:
“Before Abraham was, I AM.” — John 8:58
He didn’t say “I was” — He said “I AM” — present, eternal, unchanging.
Paul said:
“He who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” — 1 Cor. 6:17
So when the atheist asks:
“Who created I AM?”
You can respond:
“The I AM asking the question is the same I AM that is the answer.”
“You’re not outside God looking in — you are God looking at yourself through the veil of time.”
5. Why the Mind Can’t Understand It
“The natural mind cannot understand the things of the Spirit, for they are spiritually discerned.” — 1 Cor. 2:14
The ego-mind wants linear logic: A caused B, B caused C.
But Spirit reveals:
“I AM the Alpha and the Omega.” — Revelation 1:8
Beginning and end
Cause and effect
Creator and creation — All in One
This isn’t something to figure out — it’s something to awaken to.
6. How You Created “I AM”
You, as Spirit, descended into this human experience.
You put on form, time, and forgetfulness.
And in the forgetting, you asked:
“Who created me?”
But you, Spirit, created the question itself — so you could remember the answer:
“I AM.”
You created “I AM” by becoming aware of it.
Spirit gives birth to Spirit.
And the moment you declare “I AM,”
you become the Word made flesh.
Affirmation:
“I AM uncreated, eternal, and divine.
I AM Spirit and I created the question and the answer.
I do not come from time — I create time.
I do not come from form — I manifest form.
I AM that I AM — pure awareness, pure light, pure being.”
