What Is Eden, Spiritually?

Eden is not a garden on a map. It is a state of consciousness—a realm of union, peace, wholeness, and awareness of God within. It is the Kingdom of God that Jesus spoke of, the state of being where you live in perfect oneness with the I AM.

Eden means “delight” in Hebrew—symbolizing the inner paradise of the soul, where:

• There is no fear.

• There is no judgment.

• There is no doubt.

• There is no need.

• There is only presence.

Before the “fall,” man lived from this state. He didn’t need to strive, hustle, or prove himself. He walked with God—his higher self—in the cool of the day (Genesis 3:8). He lived effortlessly in the flow of divine awareness.

Being Driven Out — Entering Ego Consciousness

“So the Lord God banished him…”

This is not punishment. This is what happens when man believes the serpent—when he accepts the idea that he is separate from God, unworthy, or lacking.

He is driven out of Eden—not by God, but by his own consciousness. He can no longer dwell in the paradise of “I AM” because he now believes “I am not.”

This is the birth of ego—the illusion of separation.

• The mind becomes divided.

• The world becomes dangerous.

• God becomes “out there.”

• Life becomes hard.

This is the world most people live in today—outside Eden, struggling to survive, seeking God through religion, unaware that the Garden is within.

The Cherubim and the Flaming Sword

“…He placed on the east of the garden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.”

This is deep symbolism. Let’s decode it:

• Cherubim represent divine guardians of sacred truths. They symbolize the higher consciousness protecting the path back to God.

This sword does not block the way out of anger—it protects the way back. It ensures that only those who are truly awakened in spirit can return to Eden—not by religion, effort, or law—but through faith, consciousness, and inner transformation.

The Way Back to Eden

Jesus said:

“The Kingdom of God is within you.”

The path back is not through behavior, ritual, or church membership—it is through renewing your mind and activating your divine memory.

It is the journey inward.

You return to Eden when you:

• Walk by faith, not sight.

• Live from the higher self, not the ego-self.

And when you do—the cherubim will let you pass. The sword of truth will no longer guard the gate against you, because you are now in alignment with truth itself.
